Make a smart choice for your child’s future and consider a Youth Account with GPFCU. Teach your children the value of saving and put money aside for their future!
Any current GPFCU member as a parent or guardian may set up the share account for minors under 18 years old with a valid social security number. The account is opened in the child’s name with the parent or guardian as joint owner.
You may make unlimited deposits into this account via payroll deduction, transfer, cash, check or money order at any time.*
How to set up a Youth Account:
- Stop into any office or request a new member packet here.
- Complete an account card with the minor’s information. (If the minor is unable to give their signature, the joint owner (member opening the youth account) signs the minor’s name for them and writes “minor” next to the signature.)
- Joint owner(s) must provide photocopies of 2 forms of IDs: driver’s license, work ID, passport, etc.
- Return completed account card, photo ID copies, and a minimum of $5.00 initial deposit.
